Although I'm pondering getting an iphone--I'm with Lynch 100% on this rant of his.

It's likely that I'll acquire an iPhone sometime this year, but I being able to watch movies on it is not a selling point for me at all. I've only watched videos on my video iPod a couple of times (but never a movie, a couple of eps of "The Office" on a flight). So, I agree with Mr. Lynch.

Well, not having a phone in that ice storm was a terrible pain in the arse.
I've needed to make calls to people w/out a phone a bunch of times in the past 6 months...so I'm weakening.
