Spot on review. The absence of a Florence-like character (Greta Gerwig) in Please Give made me like Greenberg a lot more. You need something/somebody to lift the story out of complete doom and gloom. Florence had her problems, but she was a breath of fresh air as a character smart enough to enjoy the small pleasures in life.
I think it's lovely and amazing that a guy remembers that scene from Lovely & Amazing :)

I loved it. I don't understand people who aren't neurotic. Also, I love Catherine Keener so so much.
