UTW review of Pirate Radio

Go here if you want to read my review of Pirate Radio in Urban Tulsa Weekly. It is a comedy set among a motley crew of DJs who broadcast rock music into England in 1966 despite not having a license to do such a thing.

The UK version has a different cut than the American release evidently. I've read online that a lot of people prefer the version called THE BOAT THAT ROCKED. Not sure why the studio would do a radical re-cut but this is Hollywood and that's kind of what they do, screw things up.

The trailer looked good. Poorly written and edited also. No more Curtis movies for me. Way toooooooo syrupy and not very funny.
