Guilty pleasure confession time

Let me know the movie you've seen recently that proves you aren't a film snob. I re-watched Meatballs over the weekend and liked it! Come on, I know you've had a guilty pleasure recently that needs a confession of enjoying.

40 Year Old Virgin.

Nancy Drew, the new one. Extremely cheesy but still cute in its own way. Heart of the Rio Grande with Gene Autry, and Champion of course. Anything by Michael Bay.

I'm about to watch Krush Groove. Booyah.

The last two movies I reviewed were 36th chamber of shaolin and heathers. Good times.

BB: You just said that about Michael Bay to get my goat!

Kid: Heathers is an all-time favorite of mine.

Cannonball Run. The wife and I picked it up a while back and I assumed that it would be a waste of $8 since most movies I enjoyed as a dumb kid (Top Gun, for example) didn't wear well as I grew up...well, I was wrong. I still love that movie.

40 Year Old Virgin is not exactly a confession. The movie was highly regarded by critics and audiences. Here's a confession: I like Ernest Goes To Jail. The critics trashed the Ernest movies and Jim Varney (remember the "Hey Vern!" commercials in the 80s?). It wasn't, and probably still isn't, cool to admit you like the guy. But he could do great impersonations, characters, etc. Screw the highbrow critic snobs. Long live Ernest!
